This film looks at how plastic pollution is destroying life in the ocean and human coastal communities. It focuses on small island developing states, and shows how they are badly and disproportionately affected by this global problem, even though they produce relatively little of the plastic waste. It also examines what can be done to tackle the problem. This includes beach clean ups, plastic bans and new recycling technologies.
