Part of the UN Ocean Decade Laboratory on “A Clean Ocean”
November 18th 2021 12pm HKT 6am CEST
Virtual event
Remould: Improving plastics management in Asia-Pacific is a practical workshop providing policymakers and stakeholders with the tools to improve national plastic management efforts. It is part of the UN Ocean Decade Laboratory on “A Clean Ocean” and part of the launch of the UN Decade of Ocean Science.
Discussions will draw upon The Plastic Management Index (PMI), the first attempt to quantify plastic management practices at a country level. The workshop will provide an inclusive forum for discussion and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, providing actionable insights for stakeholders from business, policy, and civil society.
It will also expand the global conversation about plastic waste through focused, audience-led discussions that will draw on the PMI’s insights on Asia-Pacific and the Economist Intelligence Unit’s detailed plastics-focused research in India and South-East Asia.
The webinar’s recording is available on demand for registrants.
